I'd quite like to stuff the LFA V10 into an Ultima RS chassis

Having that perfect 560HP NA V10 hooked up to a manual transmission would be just about perfect, especially in a great chassis with excellent aero. Even better, the Ultima RS weighs over 1000lbs less than the LFA.

Sure you could order your Ultima RS with a 1200HP LT5 V8, but there’s 0% chance anyone could control that.

I don’t care if my car can hit 250mph, but I do care how it makes me feel. I’d quite like to hear that V10 behind me.

but a manual trans is bad, or whatever. remember the lfa has a digital tach becuase it revs so fast an analog one cant keep up... or so it is claimed.

Does the Ultima RS use a Porsche trans axle. This morning I was in the mood for a mid engine BMW straight six, not sure what chassis would be appropriate.

First, you should stuff the 1200hp LT5 into the LFA v10. THEN, stuff that into the Ultima RS.

agreed, I’d not want a manual for the lfa v10, has to be dual clutch paddles

Solution: Don't have a tach.

It does actually! You could also throw it in a lotus transverse like a Miura.

Or a probably cheaper and lighter engine? Judd 4.2 V10, revs to 11,000 with 750hp. http://juddpower.com/our-engines/judd-gv-4-2l-v10/

Or go for the spinning doritos with a 26B 4-rotor either N/A or Turbo. https://www.definedautoworks.com/mazda-rx7-engines-4-rotor.html

Oh. Oh my. Yes please. That Judd V10 is perfection. Thank you for reminding me that it existed. You’re also extremely correct that the 26B would be an other wonderful engine for this light, manual, rev happy scream-mobiles
